Alec Diaz is a Cybersecurity Sales Engineer at CrowdStrike, a global cybersecurity leader of advanced cloud-based cybersecurity solutions. Alec works with major healthcare organizations to implement robust IT infrastructure protection through the use of appropriate technology, intelligence, and services. Alec has years of experience in IT and Security Operations in both public and military environments. Alec holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, and stills serves in the Georgia National Guard as a Signal Officer.

Conan Taylor is a security professional who has worked at Crowdstrike for the past 3 years as a Sales Engineering Manager. Conan specialize in cloud-based security technologies, with a focus on endpoint and operating system security. He has a combined total of over two decades of experience in Information Technology, Networking and Security related fields. Conan is very passionate about helping Security organizations stay breach free. Conan holds a Bachelor of Science in IT, and an MBA. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, trying new cuisines, and fishing.

Presentation: Adversary Insights

The purpose of this presentation is to take an Adversary-first approach to security. The presentation focuses on the latest Adversary activities, TTPs, and Trends which are all derived from CrowdStrike’s Intelligence and OverWatch teams. The desired outcome is to significantly increase a Security Professional’s knowledge of the who, how, and why Adversary are attacking. The expected result is a greater insight into Adversary characteristics, and how to best defend against their evolving tradecraft.
